Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a decision support system for selecting the best employee at Myzahro Collection using the Simple Additive Weighting method. This research applies an applied research design with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation and interviews with management to determine assessment criteria, weights, and employee evaluation values. The Simple Additive Weighting method was applied through several stages, including determining alternatives and criteria, weighting, decision matrix normalization, and preference value calculation to produce employee rankings. The criteria used consist of technical skills, performance, attendance, teamwork, and initiative. The results indicate that the developed decision support system is able to provide objective, transparent, and systematic recommendations for selecting the best employee. The evaluation process becomes faster and more accurate compared to the previous manual method. Based on the calculation results, the employee with the highest preference value is selected as the best employee. It can be concluded that the application of the Simple Additive Weighting method in the decision support system effectively assists Myzahro Collection management in determining the best employee fairly and measurably.
