DIAGNOSA PENYAKIT TANAMAN RUMPUT LAUT MENGGUNAKAN METODE FORWAD CHAINING DAN CERTAINTY FACTOR BERBASIS WEB (Studi Pada Dinas Kelautan Dan Perikanan Di Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru)

Abstract

ABSTRAK
Saat ini penghasil rumput laut  eucheuma cottonii, gracilaria sp  dan  eucheuma spinosum
di Desa Marbali terletak di Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru. Namun dalam produktifitas rumput laut
khususnya   pada  kelompok  usaha  budidaya   di  Kabupaten  Kepulauan  Aru,  terdapat  berbagai
macam masalah yang mempengaruhi budidaya dan produktivitas rumput laut yang dihasilkan.
Masalah tersebut adalah adanya hama dan penyakit yang menyerang tanaman rumput laut para
nelayan kecil atau kelompok usaha budidaya. Perkembangan teknologi saat ini dapat digunakan
untuk memberikan solusi secara cepat dan tepat, misalnya dalam hal menentukan jenis penyakit
pada tanaman rumput laut.
Solusi  dari  permasalahan  tersebut  adalah  dengan  merancang  perangkat  lunak
menggunakan metode forward chaining  dan  certainty factor  dimana metode  forward chaining
sebagai  proses  pelacakan  sedangkan  metode  certainty  factor  merupakan   cara   untuk
membuktikan apakah suatu fakta itu pasti ataukah tidak pasti,  dengang sistem tersebut
mampu  melakukan  diagnosa  dengan  cepat,  tepat  dan  akurat  terhadap  gejala  penyakit  yang
terjadi diharapkan mampu membantu kelompok usaha budidaya di Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru
dalam  memberikan  solusi  dan  penanganan  secara  tepat  dari  jenis-jenis  gejala  penyakit  pada
tanaman rumput laut.

ABSTRACT
Currently  producing  of  seaweeds  eucheuma  cottonii,  gracilaria  sp   and  eucheuma
spinosum  is  on  Marbali  in,  the  Aru  Islands.  But  the  productivity,  especially  in  the  seaweed
cultivation group in the Aru Islands, has various problem that affect seaweed cultivation and
productivity.  The  problems  is   presence  of  pests  and  diseases  that  attack  seaweed  at   small
fishermen or cultivation groups. The development of today's technology can be used to provide
solutions  quickly  and  accurately,  for  example  in  terms  of  determining  the  type  of  disease  in
seaweed.
Solution of these problems is to design the software using  forward chaining and certainty
factor  methods.  The   forward  chaining  method  is  used  to  trace   process  while  the  certainty
factor method is for proving the fact that definitely sure. This system can diagnose the symptoms
quickly  and  accurately  that  occur  and  is  expected  to  help  the  cultivation  group  in  the  Aru
Islands in providing solutions and proper handling of the types of symptoms in seawed.
