Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman sifat fisik tanah pada beberapa penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Ngajum, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Ngajum, Kabupaten Malang berdasarkan 6 penggunaan lahan yaitu pemukiman, Perkebunan Campuran, Perkebunan Rumput gajah, Perkebunan Jagung, Perkebunan Karet, Industri (Greenfield). Analisis tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium Tanah, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Malang. Penentuan lokasi pengambilan sampel tanah untuk bahan analisis di laboratorium ditentukan dengan Purposive sampling pada 6 unit lahan dengan 6 titik sampel. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan sifat fisik tanah pada Kecamatan Ngajum pada 6 unit lahan mempunyai sifat fisik yang beragam, tekstur tanah didominasi fraksi debu dan pasir, Struktur remah sampai menggumpal, Permeabilitas yang cepat, Porositas yang sangat baik, dan warna tanah didominasi Dark Brown.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the diversity of soil physical properties in several land uses in Ngajum District, Malang Regency. This research was conducted in Ngajum District, Malang Regency based on 6 land uses, namely settlements, mixed plantations, elephant grass plantations, corn plantations, rubber plantations, and industry (Greenfield). Soil analysis was carried out at the Soil Laboratory, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Malang. Determination of the location of soil sampling for analytical materials in the laboratory was determined by purposive sampling on 6 land units with 6 sample points. The results showed that the physical properties of the soil in Ngajum District on 6 land units had various physical properties, the soil texture was dominated by the dust and sand fraction, crumb structure to clumps, fast permeability, excellent porosity, and the color of the soil was dominated by dark brown.
