People in this area consider floods as normal so they need to increase awareness of the dangers of floods and how to overcome them. The method in this study is quantitative descriptive using survey approach techniques. The population in this study was 3,182 people. While the research samples amounted to each of the four RW samples, namely RW 03 totaling 17 samples, RW 05 totaling 13 samples, RW 06 totaling 11 samples, RW 07 totaling 36 samples, and RW 011 totaling 23 samples. The total sample in the study in Bidara Cina Village, East Jakarta City amounted to 100 respondents. This study uses three aspects used to measure the capacity of late adolescents, namely aspects of knowledge, aspects of action plans and aspects of local wisdom. Each aspect has a score, in the knowledge aspect it has a fairly good score of 65.8%, the action plan aspect has a score of 50.1%, and the local wisdom aspect has a score of 52.2%. After calculations were made on the results of the study, it was found that the capacity of late adolescents in dealing with flood disasters had a percentage of 57.3% included in the medium category. Therefore, there is still a need for socialization and debriefing for late adolescents there to increase the capacity of late adolescents and reduce the impact when facing floods.
Muhammad Farhan Damar Pamungkas Rayuna Handawati Sony Nugratama Hijrawadi Copyright (c) 2024 JPIG (Jurnal Pendidikan dan Ilmu Geografi) 2024-03-21 2024-03-21 9 1 9 16 10.21067/jpig.v9i1.9037 Antisipasi dan Kesiapan Komunitas: Menelusuri Adaptasi Masyarakat Bidara Cina terhadap Ancaman Banjir https://ejournal.unikama.ac.id/index.php/JPIG/article/view/9424
This study aims to determine the form of adaptation of the Bidara Cina Village community. The method used is qualitative with the technique of Validity of triangulation data. The informant in this study was a resident of Bidara Cina Village, supported by the Head of Section (KASI) of the Bidara Cina Village Government and the Head of RW. The results showed that the community has new adaptations used in dealing with flood disasters. This adaptation can be seen through building infrastructure, social conditions, information technology, experience, knowledge and the economy. The form of adaptation of building infrastructure is seen through the improvement of houses to two floors. The form of adaptation of knowledge and experience is carried out by minimizing the use of the first floor, and becoming more frequent to seek flood disaster information through the application of the flood early warning system. The benefits of economic adaptation, such as meeting clothing needs, are mostly obtained from assistance. The form of social adaptation can be seen from the attitude of mutual help before, during and after the flood disaster occurs. Community institutions such as cadets together with the Head of RW and Village Parties routinely hold flood disaster socialization which aims to improve the community's ability to deal with floods that occur.
Bagas Hardianto Rayuna Handawati Ilham Badaruddin Mataburu Copyright (c) 2024 JPIG (Jurnal Pendidikan dan Ilmu Geografi) 2024-03-21 2024-03-21 9 1 17 27 10.21067/jpig.v9i1.9424 Analisis Kemampuan Literasi Digital Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Geografi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Medan https://ejournal.unikama.ac.id/index.php/JPIG/article/view/9409
This study aims to analyze the Digital Literacy Skills Students of Geography Education Department, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Medan. This learning pattern must be changed to focus on students (student center). This research aims to determine the effect of the flipped class learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of students at SMAN 44 Jakarta. The method used is quantitative with an experimental approach. Data collection at SMAN 44 Jakarta, with students at class XI level. For class XI IPS 1 as an experimental class using the flipped class learning model and class XI IPS 3 as a control class using a conventional learning model. The data obtained came from pre-test and post-test scores with a data collection period of 3 meetings. Test the pre-requisites for data analysis using normality and homogeneity tests. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Independent Sample T-Test. The results show that there is a significant influence on the average learning outcomes of students in the experimental class from 39.44 to 75.27, while for the control class the score was 38.47 to 63.47. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence in using the flipped class learning model.
Angga Alviansyach Aris Munandar Sony Nugratma Hijrawadi Copyright (c) 2024 JPIG (Jurnal Pendidikan dan Ilmu Geografi) 2024-03-21 2024-03-21 9 1 40 50 10.21067/jpig.v9i1.9408 Pemetaan Daerah Di Kabupaten Landak Berdasarkan Tingkat Kekeringan Berbasis Penginderaan Jauh https://ejournal.unikama.ac.id/index.php/JPIG/article/view/9761
The drought conditions in Landak Regency are meteorological droughts caused by a decrease in rainfall intensity. This results in a need for more water supply to meet the community's clean water needs. To reduce the widespread impact of this drought disaster, this research aims to conduct a spatial study to provide information for making decisions in handling drought. The method used in this research is the Normalized Difference Drought Index (NDDI), which combines the values of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and the Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI). This research shows that Landak Regency is classified as moderately dry with a score range of 0.31-0.65 with a total area of 770,493.25 ha. Meanwhile, a high level of drought with a score of >1 covers an area of 17,881.11 ha. Districts with high levels of drought are concentrated in Ngabang and Mandor Districts. These two sub-districts are the centre of economic growth in Landak Regency, with the highest population density.
Siska Ita Selvia Taufiqurrahman M. The nonequivalent control group design method was used in this quasi-experimental study. In this study, purposive sampling technique was used with the sample used, namely class X-7 as an experimental class that utilized the application of Canva-based e-modules during the learning process and X-8 as a control class that did not use Canva-based e-modules in learning. Based on the results of research in the field, a significant effect was obtained on the learning outcomes of experimental class students. The learning outcomes of the experimental class experienced a high increase to 88.64 from 49.92. While the control class learning outcomes increased to 83.56 from 51.36. The acquisition of the Sig. value in the t test (Independent sample t-test) of 0.046 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, because the Sig value. <0.05 is reinforcing evidence of the discovery of differences in students' cognitive learning outcomes.
