We proudly announce that Smartics Journal has published Volume 12, Number 1, released in April 2026. This edition presents a variety of research articles that explore current themes in the fields of technology and data analysis.
The articles in this edition apply data mining techniques for gold price forecasting using multiple linear regression algorithms and conduct sentiment analysis of the Grab Indonesia application through reviews on the Google Play Store, utilizing Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms. Additionally, researchers use the SVM algorithm to analyze public sentiment regarding the Free Nutritious Meal program on the Instagram platform.
This edition also features research that optimizes public street lighting (PJU) at the Wani 2 Port Dock using Dialux Evo simulation. Furthermore, it includes a classification of stunting status in toddlers in Singgahan District using the Support Vector Machine algorithm and developing an inventory information system for CV—Delta Power Listrindo, employing Buffer Stock and Reorder Point (ROP) methods.
