Kesalahan Penalaran Multiplikatif Siswa SMK dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendalami kesalahan penalaran multiplikatif yang dialami oleh siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Melalui pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan penalaran multiplikatif  dan dilanjutkan dengan wawancara kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa SMK menyelesaikan masalah secara berbeda dengan siswa yang lainnya dan memanfaatkna pengalaman atau pengetahuan yang dimiliki sebelumnya. Implikasi temuan ini mencerminkan perlunya penelusuran mendalam terkait pengalaman atau pengetahuan yang dimiliki sebelumnya dalam menyelesaikan suatu masalah sehingga dapat memberikan dukungan khusus untuk meningkatkan penalaran multiplikatif siswa.
