WRITING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE JOURNAL OF ECONOMIC EDUCATION

  1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Journal writing uses the Palatino Linotype typeface.
    2. Space size 1 (single).
    3. A4 paper size with margins (top, bottom, right: 2.5 cm, left: 3).
    4. Journal up to 10 pages.
    5. The second page header and so on contains the research title written in size 10 italicized (italic) with the left aligned position
    6. Journal content systematics:
    1) Title
    2) Author's name 1
    3) Author's email 1
    4) Name of supervisor I
    5) Name of supervisor II
    6) Identity of Study Program, Faculty, University
    7) Abstract (Indonesian & English)
    8) Keywords
    9) Introduction
    10) Literature review
    11) Method
    12) Discussion
    13) Conclusion
    14) Bibliography

B. SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS
1. Title is written in size 14, in bold, center position
2. Author's name is written in size 12, center position
3. The author's email is written in size 10, italicized (italic), the position is in the middle (center)
4. The identity of the Study Program, Faculty, University is written in size 10, italicized (italic), the position is in the middle (center)
5. Writing abstract headings, introductions, literature reviews, methods, discussion, conclusions, bibliography is written in size 11, bold (bold), uppercase, aligned left, except for keyword headings written with size 11and in bold.
6. Writing the contents of each section (abstract, introduction, literature review, method, discussion, conclusion, bibliography) in size 10, italicized (italic), aligned position right and left (justify)
7. Abstract contains the following conditions:
1) Contains at least three main parts, namely what is the purpose of the research, then the methods used to achieve the research objectives include types of research, sampling and sampling techniques, data collection techniques, research variables, data analysis techniques. The last part of the abstract is what the research findings and conclusions have come from.
2) The number of words in the abstract cannot be more than 200 words.
3) It is not necessary to include quotations or writing formulas in abstract writing.
4) Writing an abstract is enough for one paragraph
5) At most five words, separated by semicolons
8. The introductory section contains a brief description of the research problem underlying the research being carried out, a brief description of the relevant previous research results. The final part of the Introduction is a description of the research objectives.
9. The literature review section contains the main theories used as a reference in research (theoretical review), previous research (empirical review) which explains the relationship between variables, the research conceptual framework, and the formulation of research hypotheses (if any).
10. The methods section contains a description of the research method used, including the type of research, research locations, samples and sampling techniques, data collection techniques, operational / variable measurement, and data analysis techniques.
11. The discussion section contains a description of the research results and discussion.
1) The research result contains a description of the data (variable) description obtained from the study, followed by the results of statistical testing (if using a quantitative approach).
2) Attempt to present the results of statistical tests only as necessary which is really necessary for discussion.
3) The discussion section describes the results of the analysis in relation to the theory used and previous research
4) Writing tables, pictures, and formulas according to the APA (American Psychological Association) standard 6thedition.
12. The conclusion section contains a description of the conclusions obtained from the research.
1) The explanation of the conclusions must be able to answer the research objectives that have been described in the Introduction section.
2) Further research opportunities can be included as suggestions for future researchers.
3) Writing conclusions should not be in the form of numbers, but in the form of a complete description of what is obtained from the research.
4) Although the conclusions contain a complete description of the research results, do not use abstract descriptions as conclusions
13. The bibliography section contains the bibliographic sources used in the article manuscript, the writing uses the thesis bibliography writing format.
1) Only the source used in the article is written, so it is not taken the same as the thesis.
2) The bibliography is written in alphabetical order AZ using the Mendeley format
3) Bibliography using the APA (American Psychological Association) format 6thedition
