PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD BERBANTUAN LKS SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Abstract

In pre-cycle implementation of science learning to the subject of growth and development of organism by using conventional approach. Learning method thus make students become bored and not enthusiastic about joining the lesson. This study aims to determine how much influence the use of Cooperative Learning approach STAD type with the help of Student Worksheet in learning growth and development of organism to the increased interest, motivation to learn, and the learning result of students. The subjects were all students of class VI SDN Tambong Banyuwangi 3rd semester of academic year 2013/2014 by totaling 28 children. Sources of research data obtained from the student’s test result that held at the end meeting of each cycle, the observation of the learners and the teachers. Classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Based on research data and observations obtained during the implementation of learning, there is a fact that the use of Cooperative Learning approach STAD type can increase interest, motivation and learning result of students and improve the skills of teachers in classroom management.
