PENINGKATAN KREATIVITAS GURU DALAM MENERAPKAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN YANG INOVATIF MELALUI SUPERVISI KUNJUNGAN KELAS DI SMP NEGERI 2 TAYU

Abstract

This study aims: (1) to increase the creativity of teachers in implementing innovative learning strategies through classroom supervision visits, and (2) to determine the magnitude of the increase in the creativity of the teacher after implementing classroom supervision visits. It held in SMPN 2 Tayu, in odd semester academic year 2013/2014 for five months. The subjects of the study were 7 teachers. The techniques of collecting data are through documentation method, observation, interviews, assignments and discussions. Validations of data used are: data triangulation, theory and reviews informant. This study was conducted using action research design was designed by two cycles of the procedure: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The results showed that an increase in the creativity of teachers in implementing innovative learning strategies, namely Pre Cycle is 59% category "less creative", the first cycle is 82% category of "creative" while the second cycle is 96% category "very creative". It is concluded that implementation supervision classroom visits can improve teachers' creativity in applying innovative learning strategies in SMPN 2 Tayu.
