MENINGKATKAN PENGELOLAAN PERPUSTAKAAN MELALUI SUPERVISI MANAJERIAL BAGI TENAGA PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This study aims to improve the management of libraries through managerial supervision for library staff. The method is used in this study is a comparative descriptive. Data obtained by using observation, and documentation. School which is used as a research is Cluster Elementary School in Sumbersewu cluster the quality Education. The results showed that the library staff of school prior to the managerial supervision showed low performance with an average score 1.54. After doing managerial supervision in cycle 1, it increased with an average score 2.76. After doing managerial supervision performed in cycle 2, it increased with an average to 3.51. From these results, it can be suggested that library staff should always improve the knowledge skills, and having high commitment to manage the library.
