Studi sastra tradisional sebagian besar mengandalkan metode kualitatif, seperti membaca cermat dan analisis interpretatif. Namun, dengan munculnya humaniora digital dan teknik komputasi canggih, para sarjana mencoba mengeksplorasi pendekatan kuantitatif pada analisis sastra. Penelitian ini menggali kelayakan pengukuran karya sastra, mengkaji potensi dan keterbatasan metode tersebut. Melalui tinjauan komprehensif terhadap literatur dan metodologi yang ada, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan perspektif yang seimbang pada titik persimpangan analisis sastra kuantitatif dan kualitatif.
