Abstract
The purpose of this research is to knowing the fresh sperm PE goat motility using a CEP-2 diluent in different time and temperature storage. The methods is a research laboratory with temperature treatment (5°C and 24°C) as well as the time storage (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) hour using a complete Randomized Factorial Design each treatment consist of 10 repeats. Based on the result of this study showed that PE goat spermatozoa motility using a CEP-2 diluent in temperature and different time storage there is a very significanly influence (P<0,01) on motility that is at a temperature of 24°C the average percentage of motility is 51.07143 ± 11.309% and at a temperature of 5°C the average percentage of motility was 46.11429 ± 11.24889% and on the time storage the average highest motility percentage at 0 hours i.e. 67.9 ± 2.613729% and for the average percentage of motility of the lowest at 6 hours i.e. 32.75 ± 2.446802%. Likewise with viability, there is a very significanly influence (P<0.01) at different temperature and time storage i.e. at temperature of 24°C the average percentage of viability was 68.77071 ± 9.245749% and at a temperature of 5°C the average percentage of viability was 60.31357 ± 12.90829% and on the time storage the average percentage viability at 0 hours i.e. 82.599 ± 0.028451% and for the average lowest percentage viability at 6 hours, i.e. 46.8865 ± 6.685014%. In conclution the motilitmy and viability of PE goat fresh sperm using CEP-2 provides the best results at a temperature of 24°C with time storage 0 hours.
